Although concepts such as video and digital, augmented reality, and virtual reality have entered our lives since the 20th century, with the Covid-19 crisis, they began to affect all areas of art intensively. We have entered a process where the memory of the culture-art ecosystem is re-formed, the theatrical is recreated, different forms emerge, digital records are circulated, and theaters share their archives as a way out. Culture and art institutions, which had to stop their physical activities in this process, maintain their communication with their audiences online by using digital technologies, have many positive effects such as the audience’s access to the games at affordable prices and the accessibility of live performances from all over the world.

The “Digital Culture Empowerment Program”, created on this basis, aims to equip individuals from different professions in the culture and arts sector with digital skills to work online so that the culture-arts ecosystem, which has been badly damaged by the COVID-19 crisis, can adapt to the process; It aims to contribute to these individuals and the institutions they work with to maintain their jobs and income stability during the ongoing crisis and to enable them to create spaces that will bring their productions to the audience.
