Today, the knowledge and skills obtained through formal education are often insufficient in the face of dazzling changes, revealing the need for individuals to renew themselves by constantly learning, making lifelong learning a necessity. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Vocational Courses (BALMEK) were designed and started its activities as a social fabric project based on such a need.
It was desired by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality to create a brand with the same name in order for Balmek to employ more women with a sustainable approach.
